With a BA in Communications and an MA in Human Relations, Cindy also holds certificates in Diversity & Inclusion and Women in Executive Leadership. She is a graduate of Air Command and Staff College and Air War College trained in strategic leadership. She’s also a policy analyst and advocate.
Cindy has served as a Guest Lecturer at the George Washington University and University of Hawai’i Matsunaga Peace Institute to discuss the role of women and minorities in the peace process.
Cindy has worked extensively across the military (Air and Space Force), US Government Department of Defence and with International Governmental bodies and NGOs such as the UN and NATO. Of note was when she played a lead role in standing up to the Air Force’s first-ever Diversity and Inclusion Office (Pentagon, D.C.) Additionally, Cindy is a member of the United States Institute of Peace Civil Society Working Group on Women, Peace and Security and Chairs the GloCal Committee, bringing global goals to local leaders. Cindy served as an elected council member of the United Nations Association (member at large) and serves currently as the Secretary of the Women’s Advisory Council United Nations Association United Kingdom.
She is the CEO & Founder of Global Freedom Group and a combat veteran. Much of her military career was spent helping underrepresented talent pools access equitable opportunities in the Department of the Air Force. She led several Service-level Working Groups to address systemic discrimination and artificial barriers that marginalised African, Hispanic, Disabled and Women Airmen, Guardians and their families. Her expertise led to the establishment of the United States Space Force Women’s Initiative Team. She has won a range of awards for her leadership, expertise and achievements throughout her career.
