In this talk, Nikki introduces bisexuality research and considers the recent turn from biphobia to bipositivity. She begins by exploring how biphobia came to be developed as a concept in the mid-1990s and discusses key findings from research on biphobia and bisexual marginalisation. She then highlights the small body of research that has focused on positive aspects of bisexual identities and bipositivity and considers what insights these studies might offer on bisexual people’s lives and experiences.

BSL Sign Language Interpreters will be signing the webinar.
