It’s About Race 1 – Challenging Racial Bias and Racism in Practice
Overview
This course is aimed at those working in the private, public, social purpose, voluntary and community sectors and is relevant to all staff including volunteers, practitioners, staff and managers. The overall aim of the course is to educate individuals in organisations giving them a better, in-depth understanding of various forms of racism, as well as racial bias and the issues affecting racialised communities in the context of the current climate and history. The course has a focus on the topics of anti-racism and white privilege and looks to assist organisations in making practical and structural changes that contributes to a positive impact in the fight against racism and racial inequality.
Duration: 2-3 hours
This course is suitable for up to 25 people in a workshop, or over 25 in a webinar format.

It’s About Race 2 – Allyship, Anti-Racism and Becoming an Active Bystander
Overview
This course enables organisations to continue to strive to support the creation of an inclusive and safe community.
Attending one of these sessions will equip you with tools to become more confident to challenge racial prejudice and racism, understand how privilege can be used for benefit, learn how to be an ally and anti-racist, and how to become an active bystander.

It’s About Race 3 – Diversity and inclusion in Engagement, Recruitment, Development and Retention
Overview
This webinar will benefit organisations looking to embrace and improve diversity and inclusion as well as a current and aspiring talent, leaders and managers.

Overview

Utilising a ‘positive action’ approach, through BME talent retention and development, is one proven way of making staff feel valued, equipped and better able to make a positive contribution.
